Time to clean out your shelves and get “new-to-you” things for free!

For each book or puzzle donated students will receive one “book buck”, up to five, which they can exchange for something new to them. Students may donate as many items as they would like. Anything left over will be donated to SCARCE in Glen Ellyn. Volunteers do not check that all puzzle pieces are included. If you plan to turn in a puzzle, please make sure it contains all pieces.

We especially need items appropriate for 5th & 6th graders – please help our older readers!

The exchange is Friday, April 22nd, 2022 during school hours. Turn in books/puzzles to your classroom teacher starting Friday April 15th, 2022.

Help make this event a success! We need volunteers to help set up after school Thursday, April 21st, 2022. Children are welcome to help (if accompanied by you!) and they can pick out something to take home for helping. We also need volunteers on the day of the exchange to help kids look & ‘checkout’ with their book bucks. The exchange takes place from the start of school till just before lunch.
